Other parks include the Infinity Attraction offering illusions and light shows not to be missed. A Q1 Flight Simulator lets you see what it would be like to fly a Boeing. And there is Dream World with adrenaline packed rides as well as ones for the smaller kids.

There is a lot to do if adrenaline is what you like. There is the Extreme Jet Boat Thrill Ride where a high-powered boat takes you through all sorts of twists and turns. Adrenalin Park offers a whole host of rides that will get your heart racing. If you like a more physical challenge, check out Adventure Park in the Hinterland where many await you such as an 18 m above ground Tarzan jump.

There are lots more options for viewing animals besides Sea World. There is David Fleay Wildlife Park, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Paradise Country. Enjoy some dinner while watching the stunt riders at the Australian Outback Spectacular which gives you a an idea of life at an outback cattle station.

If nightlife is what you are after, the Gold Coast does not disappoint. Try Surfers Paradise where there are some 20 clubs waiting to serve you. If the choices seems overwhelming, not to worry. There is a pub crawl tour you can take that will help you work your way through a selection.

For something a little fancier and not quite so wild, try Broadbeach. You will find many alternatives on the Gold Coast. Try one of the many beach restaurants where you can dine outside. You would be hard pressed to find a more romantic evening than a wine and tappas bar at the beach.
