Prime Ministers Cup Race Day at the Gold Coast Turf ClubThe annual Prime Ministers Cup Race Day at the Gold Coast Turf Club is one of the major events on the Gold Coast Calendar with a host of special events including: Fashions On The Field, Beauty and Pamper Precinct and Live entertainment. And of course you will see some of Australia's best thoroughbreds competing in the 1300m Prime Ministers Cup and the 1800m Hollindale Race. There are mens and ladies contests for Fashions on the Fields. Ladies must have hat or fascinator, and gentlemen must be dressed in a suit and tie in order to participate in the event. The judges will be looking for race wear that is well suited for the race track and Gold Coast climate, style and originality, immaculate grooming and deportment and the co-ordination of outfit with attention to detail. There can only be one winner for each category but the top 10 finalists for each category, being Best Dressed Female, Best Dressed Male and Most Fashionable Hat/ Fascinator will also receive a special basket of products Race Day gates open at 10pm with admission in 2010 starting from $15 Gold Coast Horse Races and Racing events at the Gold Coast Turf Club are located at
